"Vivian, Just wanted to share Jamie's progress with you. Jamie has more confidence now that she has been attending the Pinecone Learning Center. She entered a science project in the Del Roble Elementary School show and won the third prize for the 5th-grade classes (no one in her class entered except Jamie) She was called upon to explain her project to the judges and later her teacher asked her to explain it to her classmates. The theme of her entry was "How Coastal Redwood Trees Grow". She presented a living example by growing one from scratch. This project was not mandatory for the 5th-grade classes, but students could do so for the practice. We are so proud of Jamie!"
